This is a newly created Digital Learning function, at the helm is an individual from one of the globes most technically advanced brands. He has been tasked with building from the bottom up a ‘best in class’ team that will impact the entire employee learning journey. His approach is hands off and outputs focused, he is progressive in seeking out developments in technology and emerging digital learning methods. He has previously curated learning content that has been commercially successful not just for employees but also for customers internationally.
The business has recently grown from a medium sized organisation to one that now has 220 nationwide sites, with a headcount of 3500 with plans for further double-digit growth. The population this role will support are diverse in their skills, so content produced will require an understanding of the different occupational groups to deliver video that will engage with each. A ‘one size fits all’ won’t work here.
This role obviously will require video and film skills, but as a person you will have a creative flair and still able to create a logical narrative that will engage the viewer in the different steps within the instructional process.
The role is home-based, but they do want weekly catch up meetings so must be comfortable travelling to these – the rest of the team are in and around Reading.
